Men's Rouleur All Weather Vest | Storm Black

The Rouleur All Weather gilet is indispensable when there is rain in the air, the wind is blowing or the weather is just simply unpredictable.

The front

The front, shoulder part and outside of the collar are made from the Windtex Evolution Light Recycled fabric. This is a recycled stretch fabric with membrane. The membrane ensures that wind and rain are kept out, keeping you dry and warm.

The back

The lower back panel is made of a recycled black high-stretch power mesh fabric, ensuring that heat can escape and sweat can evaporate. This way you won’t overheat or get wet from moisture build up inside the gilet. In the back panel you will find an opening through which you can easily reach your jersey pockets. This opening has a reflective strip over the full width that, together with a reflective tab on the bottom right and left hand side and a reflective binding around the arm openings, keeps you visible at night.

The details

On the gilet you will find the same recycled YKK Natulon zipper as on our Rouleur short sleeve jersey. Combined with a garage at the top and bottom to protect your chin and bib shorts from possible chafing. The higher collar is lined with Vita Suede recycled fabric from Jersey Lomellina. This soft and lightly brushed fabric gives you a comfortable and warm feeling around the neck. The bottom of the gilet is finished of with a minimalistic silicone gripper. Because the gilet is slightly longer than the Rouleur jersey, this gripper falls right over it and does an excellent job in keeping the gilet in place. Without adding the bulk of the wider silicone gripper that is frequently used.

For now it is only available in black. For the future we plan to offer it in the same colours as our short sleeve jersey, so you can mix and match.

Determining your size

Our model Jeroen is 183cm, weighs 86kg and wears size L

Circumference chest

Start by measuring your chest circumference at the widest part, as shown in the image. Compare the measured value with that from the size chart to see which size you fall in.

Circumference waist

Then measure the circumference of your waist. Measure at the narrowest part as shown in the image. Compare the measured value with that from the size chart to see which size you fall in.

Circumference high hips

Finally, measure the circumference of your hips. Do not measure this at the widest part but a few centimeters below your belly button, the place where the bottom of the shirt will be. Compare the measured value with that from the size chart to see which size you fall in.

Fit

The chest circumference and that of the high hips are the two most important measurements. The waist gives an indication of how close the shirt will fit in that area. Are you in between two sizes? Then think about how you want the clothes to fit. Do you prefer it to be a little tighter or looser? Go for the smaller or larger size based on that.
