Men's Rouleur Bib Shorts | Deep Black

Our goal was to develop a pair of bib shorts constructed out of the minimum number of panels possible with no compromise in fit and compression. The chamois pad had to be comfortable but also able to give the right amount of support and dampening. The result is our Rouleur bib short. With a construction out of only 3 panels for the short, so without the leg grippers and bib part. The one-piece panels for the legs are shaped in such a way that they follow the contours of the body closely. Because of the minimum number of seams and their placing the chance of chafing - and therewith irritations - is minimised. The modern chamois pad can be used for different disciplines - road, mountain and gravel bike - and offers the perfect mix between support and comfort, even during the longest rides.

The fabric

The main fabric of this bib short is a 100% recycled fabric made by Miti. This deep black matte 4 way stretch material is composed of 78% recycled polyamide and 22% recycled elastane. Because of the weave and a weight of 200 gr/m2 it offers excellent compression, helping against muscle fatigue. This fabric is also very resistant to pilling, has an opaque coverage and protects your skin against harmful UV rays from the sun. All these properties combined ensure that you get a great fitting and long-lasting pair of bib shorts.

The chamois pad

For all-day comfort during your rides our Rouleur Endurance women’s chamois pad - made by Elastic Interface - is constructed with endurance riding in mind. It has a minimalistic feel but offers excellent support and a great bike feel. This is achieved using 3 separate layers. The lower layer is a ‘Super Air’ perforated base for maximum breathability and a quick drying effect. The middle layer consists out of 2 independently moving perforated ‘Hybrid Cell’ ischial inserts made of 200 kg/m3 foam, combined with a 120 kg/m3 high density foam under the perineum, for optimal long-distance support and vibration dampening. The bacteriostatic top layer is a recycled fabric made from polyester, polyamide and elastane which are woven into cubes. Together they prevent chafing and irritations and ensure a cooling effect by facilitating perfect moisture management.

The bibs

The bib straps are perforated elastic straps. They offer the perfect combination of stretch and strength without digging into your shoulders. The side panels and front panel of the bibs are made from a soft 100% recycled power mesh fabric. This lightweight high-stretch mesh fabric ensures that moisture can be transported outwards quickly - towards the next layer - where it can evaporate, keeping you dry and comfortable. The bib, combined with the height of the shorts, is shaped in a such a way that it covers the hips completely. This gives a nice, covered feeling and prevents unflattering lines.

The details

The leg grippers are also made from recycled fabric. They’re soft and stretchy. This helps to accommodate a wide range of leg circumferences. On the inside they’re covered with lots of small high-quality silicone dots keep them in place. A reflective tab on the back of each leg keeps you visible in the dark.

Hips low

Start by measuring your hips at the widest part as shown in the image above. Compare the measured value to the size chart to see which size you fall in.

Inside leg

The leg length of the legs is shown in the size chart. Use the value under 'Inner leg length' to determine how the leg length fits you. To get an accurate leg length measurement, start from the highest point of your inseam and measure down.

Fit

Are you in between two sizes? Then think about how you want the clothes to fit. Do you prefer it to be a little tighter or looser? Go for the smaller or larger size based on that.
